Ridgway Memorial Library

Ridgway Memorial Library serves as the main library and administrative offices for the Bullitt County Public Library system. Originally the site of a family residence, the home was donated to the Library by Dr. and Mrs. Sam Ridgway in 1963. In 1971, the Ridgway home was replaced with a 8,000 square-foot facility, and the new Ridgway Memorial Library was dedicated on January 21, 1973. Major renovation projects were carried out in 1989 and 2006, when the building was roughly doubled in size.

Due to concerns including space, parking, and structural issues, the Bullitt County Public Library has purchased new land on Conestoga Parkway to build a replacement for this location. A construction timeline has not yet been established.
